@zande said in Searching for an adult basenji: Our Rescue co-oordinator is looking to rehome 5 adult Basenjis at the moment. @cj6320 @Chateau1 @badcock89 I'm sure @Zande is helping all of you, but I remembered each of you as being in the UK and I wanted to make sure that you saw this.

@helle-devi Thank you for responding. I have already been in touch with the basenji sisters. I was not aware before I contacted them that they are located in CA. I think the distance between us is too great. If things didn’t work out between my basenji and one of their girls, the distance would be a problem. I did become a member on the Facebook site that you recommended. Thank you so much! I was unaware that such a site existed. Jo Ann

Well said, Patty!!! I love your stories. I always just say that Cody never read his canine instruction manual. I have never thought of his mischief as doing his chores, but yep, that seems to be exactly what he's doing :) "Hey girl, you dropped a sock. I'll just take it into the hallway so you don't trip over it. Hmm, it chews almost as nicely as my defluffed squirrel… hey, don't take it! I was just trying help you out!"

I think they're trying to look legit! Knowing that most "ethical" breeders ask a good amount for our dogs (course mind you we have a lot of money stuck into our dogs prior to the "sale" price). And the fact that we're not into dogs to make money.
