    Thank you! Things were a bit rough at first trying to adjust but now that she is able to get outside and we can get that energy out she has been such a joy and sweetie! :) like yall said, "A tired puppy is a good puppy".

    @pearlypoo Awwww...that face is one that you could just rub your face all over!! Looking at her eye's ... I believe she's thinking something along the lines of: "WOW! That was kinda' scary but fun too...sure glad my humans were keeping me safe! I wonder what all other fun things they're gonna' teach me about!!" I love the whiskers too! I have whiskers in my Yorkie's scrapbook & in both of my B's scrapbooks too. If a tooth came out & I found it ~ I still have it. I have some toe-nail clippings from all 3 dogs too. But pictures are best!! All 3 of you are lucky, lucky ... lucky!! :)

    Took my car to the dealer today for an inspection. They put it on a lift and checked all the undercarriage and tires and found NO DAMAGE! Yea! Sure made me happy. Who knew a Prius could run over 2 big aluminum ladders at over 50 mph without any damage? Good thing Don was driving and not me, I probably would have swerved and turned us over, and hit other cars for sure. Whew, a lucky day for us.

    There's something invigorating about cold snow on little basenji toesies! My Abbey loved all the snow we had last winter (unusual for us) but she was terrified of the neighbors' snow man!!

    Thank you for the compliment - we sure think she's a pretty girl. I agree that it's necessary to have the part around the neck, to keep the head up should it become necessary in the water. They can swim of course, but you never know, so it's best to keep them safe. We really like the handle on top of the jacket also, it's a very useful thing when loading the dog on and off the boat, so she isn't in a position of getting off herself, perhaps falling between the boat and the dock in the process.

    That's great to hear all went well for you - sounds like you had a fantastic time! We don't have a dog park in my area either & I really hope we find one on our road trip this summer. About the hotel inspections - be careful with that - I'm usually up my female's rear end because I have little trust that her curiosity won't get her into trouble. The first time we stayed @ a "pet friendly" hotel, my B was able to find some random black debis on the chair, stuff under the beds & 2 prescription estrogen pills! I had just had her spayed, but she certainly didn't need all that!! ;)
