I would hope that they would read the other threads and take all the suggestions to heart. We all know what it is like to "want it now"…. but getting a puppy of any breed is not one of those things. As they say "All good things come to those who wait".

I hope that she will think twice about just buying a puppy, learn from the experience here and others that have gone through the same process.

Also, please rethink the 6-8 week time frame for getting a new puppy. Here's some really good info.

yes, i know, i've been saying that for years, maybe after xmas. i'd like to just get the whole set.
they also have life sized basenjis, of course i have 3 of those__

I have a small Tri total basenji and a Steiff one that is awesome. Looks like the steiffs are still available from the German basenji club
