    We just got back from 5 days in Maui. Had to put our Laika in a kennel which we found after a long search. It was not easy to leave her there, she did ok we think. But was so glad to see us. We really hated to do this as we adopted her from a kennel 6 month ago. All our travel will now be by car only so we can take her. My husband had to pat everydog he saw in Maui. She is his baby.     None of mine care for young puppies of any breed, they try and avoid them. Once the pup is 8 or 9 months old, mine seem to like the same pup they have been growling and snapping at for 6 months! I agree with the yard as a more neutral area. Good luck, he's a cute puppy, hopefully will get neutered then your dogs may like him better.

    @renaultf1: Honestly, there is nothing cuter than baby yodels!! It is great that Malaika yodels. When Liyah was a pup, if the adults wouldn't play with her, she would bring stuffed animals to her reflection in the stereo cabinet and then would dance around and yodel to her reflection to try to get her to play :D:D. Liyah is the big talker of my 3 - when she wants Brando to play, she will pet him on his head and start talking to him - very comical! :D:D Oh, and we call Brando and Liyah the lovebirds because they are so enthralled with each other! That's so nice :)

    Good for the Gecko. Here in Texas we say it brings good luck to have geckos in our homes. So good luck is coming your way.
