Tried to pass this along to some Floridian Shiba people who will hopefully know where to direct lost/found Shiba ads!
Basenji in Augusta, GA
-
The microchip is not registered to an owner
How do you know?
-
I can go get her! Coincidentally, my employer is building an elementary school out there so I have been to Augusta twice since the job started…..apparently my "basenji in need" radar was down on that particular day...
-
There is a database that you can check online. It doesn't tell you the name of the implanter though which can sometimes help lead back to the breeder if it was them or their vet who did the implantation.

If you do, please post the information about her. Are you really going to get her? I'm so excited she'll be in good hands.

Well actually I'm not in a position to foster right now but I would definitely transport her.
-
Did anybody pick her up? I am in contact with BRAT and tehy are trying to locate her..any info would be great.
-
The info on where she was is in the post? Looks like she is at the Augusta Animal Services Center and is number A098851 - here is a link to their website

I figured out what shelter she is at, but she doesn't pull up if you search on there, so I am wondering if anybody got her ..BRAT is wanting to help out, but can't find her..
Thanks for your help though, Tanza. -
She is in the lost/stray section so is not yet up for adoption.
