    Dear Debra, Thanks for the notes and looking up options nearby. We had already written to the Swiss basenji email address, but didn't get a response. We'd be willing to take him to nearby countries in Europe for the right fit. Perhaps now we will try writing to the other countries' basenji groups. He is such a lovely dog, and we want a good situation for him. He has come a long way and is much calmer now that he's a bit older! Cheers

    She is now fully sponsored to any rescue that takes her! I assume this means the $100 adoption fee is covered which includes her spay and vetting! If anyone knows a rescue that could take her, please let them know!     Its fine that you might want to protect yourself on any list. I think what your doing, well, its good that YOU get the credit. Re rescue booth work. Its really something I make time for in the PNW. My all breed dog club goes to areas, and I am there. I even do the Bull's Eye pit bull rescue booth, and I have to tell you, I have seen more attitude with a lot of b's than I did with these lovely PB..but that is of topic. Anyway, we admire you, Brenda or Melissa, just let us know how we should address you. Oh, I see..its Melissa…good!
