A couple of years ago I had ferrets as well.. Our sheltie mix used to chase them.. until the ferrets got enough of it.. then they would turn around and the sheltie would look like 'ohohw..' and then it was the other way around.. the dog being chased by the ferrets! :D

The only thing that's not great about ferrets is the smell ;)

Well.. I had a female and a male, the female was sterilized, but she still smelled.. But the male was worse..
I had some handling classes (at school) a couple of weeks ago with ferrets.. we all smelled like them afterwards. :D :D

But I love them! Great animals! Kind, playful, loving and very courageous :)
And they make the cutest sounds :D
