And Uncle Nicky. Looking for his puppy pics really brought back some great memories. It is hard to believe that he is almost 10 1/2 years old. Nicky is my first basenji, my first showdog, my first coursing dog, my first rally dog. Yesterday he won his Veterans Class at the Basenji Club of Northern California Specialty and looked awesome with Pat Fragassi who handles him at specialties and makes him look great.

Oh - those pictures are soooo great! I wish I had puppy pictures of Samantha, but we adopted her when she was 4-1/2 years old.

I am a little jealous because I have never had a B puppy. They have to be the cutest puppies ever. BUT…I can see the look in their eyes and I know what kind of trouble they are thinking of. Someday, but for now I will stick to older, special needs rescues. Not sure how I would handle a "normal" Basenji puppy. Thats a different kind of patience.
