Have you considered feeding raw food (meat and vegetables)? It worked wonders for our B's coat and overall health.

Tommy I have a similar brush and that is probably the best one I have found to remove hair and he enjoys the massage it gives, at least his hair is heavy enough to stay on the ground not like the Cornish rex we have, his hair is like dust it get's everywhere, don't need extra fibre in our food during shedding time, I'm sure we must ingest an amount YUCK!!, should of got a Sphinx cat and a Mexican hairless dog. All of mine are having a longer and larger shed right now than is usual. I think it because it has been unusually hot and humid for a longer time than normal.

yes, vets…go and see another one! I lost one dog because the vet took too long to find out that my previous dog had be poisonned by rat poison (an italian greyhound). vets do what they can of course but...some are definitely better than others, so...when in doubt, change!

And to add to all this… she is still growing/changing at this stage... adding in being in season... is just another fact of life to deal with.... It is difficult with baby puppy bitches to figure out ideal weight... they change so much daily....
