Have you considered feeding raw food (meat and vegetables)? It worked wonders for our B's coat and overall health.
Shedding season?

Typically for B's it is anytime from now through late spring… or at least that is what I have found

Let me add to that… little bit different for bitches that have had a recent litter... they will usually blow coat about 4 to 5 months after they have had a litter... again... that is what I have found with mine...

I live in PA, and Senji has been blowing coat for the past month. I felt bad for him because we've been having some really cold weather.

Blow coat? (or "blowing coat"?) Is that another way to describe shedding?
-
Seems our's do it in the summer, but not all of them and not every year.
-
In CO, it's still kinda cold a couple days a week and Mejai just finished. He doesn't seem to mind the cold though, so we're OK.

Yes, sorry…. I didn't explain...

Sometimes, Senji could just be laying on the floor for a few minutes and when he stands up, there's a pile of fur laying on the carpet. I've had to wash his blankets every day. I could probably knit a sweater with all the fur that gets caught in the dryer's lint filter.
