I give all the credit regarding Kipawa's mellowness to our breeders Therese and Kevin (FoPaw's Basenjis). They obviously did so much work in exposing Kipawa to a number of sounds and experiences. The carwash experience was really interesting. I thought he would be scared of it, but instead he seemed really curious. He especially loved the pink, green and yellow foam bubbles against the windows. Maybe he could pick up that I like them too? 🙂

Is this the little basenji mix you found along side the road?
Very cute indeed!
If I am thinking of another dog, where did you get Kenzie? -
She is absolutely adorable, definitely basenji, and then I'd say Australian cattle dog.
No matter, wonderful pictures and she is a sweetheart

Great pics and she is a sweetie.:)

Could she just be a poorly bred full blooded basenji?
-
Yes, beautiful pups and pictures!!

I agree -totally! That's the first thing I thought-cattle dog. I have a 3/4 and She definitely has the same look!

She has the cattle dog color and hair but a B body and built. I got her form a shelter in Missouri there were 5 other one like her but not the same colors. One good thing about her being a B, she dosen't have the dog smell.

Kenzie is super cute!! She is definately part basenji!! I love my b mix for the "no doggie smell" too!

Kenzie is very cute. When I first saw his face, except for color, I thought he looks like my Duke; profile and expression. Their muzzles are bit long and have the same shape. These are very nice pictures. Glad you shared - thanks.
I'm sure Duke is a mix, and no dog smell with him either. A double blessing!
