You can search for breeders by state at www.basenji.org. Also you can find the link to the breeder liaison. This is the best way to find a responsible breeder. You can use this link to learn how to find a responsible breeder and what questions to ask. https://www.basenji.org/learn/ScreeningBreeders.htm You should always get health testing details and check out those results for yourself...just don't take someone's word on it....
Looking for Adult Male Basenji
-
We currently have a beautiful 2-year-old purebred basenji female and we're looking for a male to add to our family. We live in Las Vegas NV and are hoping to find one within driving distance (AZ, UT, CA etc) so that they can meet.

Contact your local breed clubs for help finding adult dogs that their reputable breeder members need homes for. Copper State Basenji Club, https://azbasenjis.org/; South Coast Basenji Fanciers, https://www.facebook.com/SoCalBasenjiFanciers; Basenji Club of Northern California (BCONC), https://www.facebook.com/norcalbasenjis. Use the Basenji Club of America breeder directory to contact the breeders listed for adult dogs, https://basenji.org/index.php/about-basenjis/breeder-directory. Do not use the AKC directory as there are several extremely disreputable breeders who advertise there. If you are reasonably Basenji experienced, apply to be a foster volunteer for BRAT. Many Basenjis in foster homes never make the adoption page because they are adopted by their foster family. https://www.basenjirescue.org/Volunteer.asp

Sent you a pm. -
@senjisilly oh, oh, how do i find your private message to me?

@drjuliana you should see an avatar circle in the upper right hand corner... yours is purple with a white D. Next to it is a little cartoon quote bubble. Click on that. A drop down menu will pop up that allows you to access any open chats.
