    Go to the Basenji Club of America's web site (BCOA). To find Basenji breeders go to the Breeder Directory. Breeders are listed by state.     You can search for breeders by state at www.basenji.org. Also you can find the link to the breeder liaison. This is the best way to find a responsible breeder. You can use this link to learn how to find a responsible breeder and what questions to ask. https://www.basenji.org/learn/ScreeningBreeders.htm You should always get health testing details and check out those results for yourself...just don't take someone's word on it....

    I think Tanza is spot on. Not sure where you are, but the Basenji Nationals are in Tucson in November. Assuming it's possible, I can't think of a better way to find a good breeder than to attend.

    Monica, Another good place to start might be BCOSW. There is a pretty extensive breeder directory there, and if those breeders do not have puppy plans, they can probably direct you to others who do.
