Even though breeders don't show on the on-line database, I do keep pretty full records, and by the way - please keep chasing people to send me litter data !

If you are interested in a an 8-month old tri girl…. please feel to check out my Khani's Basenjis FaceBook page.... Daisy and Violet are looking for their forever homes. Both should test as Fanconi Clear as parents are Fanconi Clear and completely health-tested. You can email me at bennyburnerbono at aol.com for more info.

It isn't that they are necessarily outside dogs…they are just incredibly "barky" dogs so they get sent outside a lot. Any and ever time anyone is out in our backyard, their dog barks and barks and bark for-ev-er until we go inside. Those dogs may drive us crazy, but they are still animals and we still feel bad for them :(

Braden, have you done any health testing on the sire/dam?

If funds are an issues, you can do what I used to do before BRAT came along. Find out the vet of the family your placing him with, have the family pay you for your expenses and then take the dog to the new familys vet for the surgery to be fixed. Drop the dog off the day of the surgery and then new owners pu the dog. They get to pay the bill. That makes sure the dog is fixed, sets up a new vet record for the new dog in the family, and you don't have to pay anything out of pocket. Mostly, you know the surgery WILL BE DONE. Thanks for making sure he is fixed before rehoming. That is so important.
