For a teenage boy to be 80% with distractions is great. We're very proud of him and his Mom for doing such a great job with him.
His little sisters Olive (aka Fina) and Scarlett will be coming to visit us next week. I hear they are also doing well, in fact I could hear Scarlett barrooing at her dad when he called to tell us they were coming for a visit.
The bending thing is a mistake I make frequently so I have to remind myself all the time to watch my posture.

Meet Kilo-Georgia K9's New Narcotics Detection Pup
-
I would like to formally introduce Kilo to the Basenji world. He was our pick of our working basenji litter. Kilo was thoroughly tested for working traits for scent detection. He is nine weeks old and begins his formal training now. This training will consist of environmental desensitization, puppy play groups, lots of play related to detection, and his first odor introduction. This is pic is of Kilo meeting Valco, a wonderful GSD owned and handled by our Kennel Master, Phoebe Bault.

Awwww, he's cute!!!!!!

What big jobs for such a little guy! I am sure this "chosen one" will rise to the challenge. Looking forward to updates.

Kilo is a great name for a drug-sniffer, hahaha! He is gorgeous.
-
What a beautiful little pup! I'm sure he will rise to the challenge he has before him. More and more we see reports of these agile little geniuses being chosen for this type work as they can fit between things and walk with delicacy through piles of luggage, etc.
-
That's wonderful! And he is just beautiful. Thats great that he will be able to work and use his mind like it should/could be used. Please keep us updated.
