My girl Sahara is 7mos. old and she is a handful also. She does the Basenji 500 when we tell her we are going to get her, she loves to play this and it does help with her energy level. She races around our dinner table, up on the couch where she tries to hide her head under the pillows, back in the living room full force around the coffeetable, down the hall (they are hardwood) and she slides into the wall at the end, back down the hall and up on the den couch again. She does stop now and then between runs to get water, my husband and I laugh so hard we are also out of breath. We move toward her and say, "I am going to get you Sahara", and off she goes again. She does get into mischief during the day, I swear everything in my house is now put up high, out of her reach, sure hope she does not grow any longer, she stands on those hindlegs and reaches with her paws (my husband call them her hands, she is so good with them. But all in all she is worth it, she is the most loving animal I have ever seen. When she sleeps she has to touch you in someway, with a leg on you, a paw, or her head resting on you. We love her so much, she is the best.:D
