Malaika and Kwame update
-
Malaika is now 16 months old and Kwame 16 weeks, here's a little update.
Malaika is now working for her Gold award and is a very beautiful Princess Basenji
Kwame has just started Puppy foundation classes and has got off to a promising start.
We are finding it very interesting to compare the two and watch their interactions with each other. Not sure at this point whose going to be boss.
In class, Kwame is a bit calmer to handle than Malaika was at the same age and seems as if he'l be easier to train on the lead.
Malaika is more laid back about food, Kwame is obsessive about it and we will need to work on his resourse guarding food around Malaika.
They both get on realy well together, getting into mischief around the house etc. Malaika can be a terrible torment, especialy when Kwame is tired and won't play. She waits untill he's going to sleep and then comes over and gives him a good hard jab with her paw  . Needless to say it's not well recieved.
They do love each other, realy

The Cat in the first picture is an ornament, it's a winstanley cat with specialy made glass eyes, they appear to look at you wherever you are in the room.
