We laid low as well…comfort foods galore..late night firepit and cozy going on..Moses (the podengo wonderboy) ended up chasing the fireworks neighbors were shooting off, so I had to put him up..was afraid he would get hurt. All in all a wonderful, lazy ending to a good year.
New camera

Yesterday we bought a new camera, so today we took some 'practice shots' of Tillo. Enjoy!
Tillo on the flexi
"Did you call me?"
Tillo running after the birds
A safe place to walk off leash
Here I come!
Sniffing around..
..and following the pack
"Hah.. you can't get me!"
"I'm gonna get you!"
"Here I come….."
"Gotcha!!"
"This is fun, isn't it?!"
"Almost….."
"Missed.."
"..Almost…"
"Gotcha again!!"
"I'm goood"
Tillo kept trying
Until he found something more interesting
"Are you taking pictures of me?"
You can see I brought some yummy treats
After this pic he took off after a fox and came back with itchy feet.. So time to start our way back home..
We hope for some better weather tomorrow with more pics

What is better to wake up to than sipping my coffee and getting my Tillo fix!!
Janneke, I thought all of your pictures before were wonderful, but the detail on these is awesome. What kind of camera did you buy? There is a new Canon DLR camera out over here in Canada that I am seriously considering. There is a crazy huge amount of megapixels and something that one needs as they get older - image stabilization. Ha ha.
What a beautiful day you guys enjoyed. Thanks so much for sharing those pictures and please post more whenever you have them!

Agree, great photos! What is the new camera??
Tillo looks great, I see his ribs! (I haven't seen any of my basenji's ribs in years, haha) -
Fabulous pics, in some he looks as if he's just about to leap out of the picture.

Thanks for your nice comments Glad Tillo made your morning a bit better, Fran We bought the Canon EOS 7D. And I have to give credits to the lens as well: the Canon EF 70-200 f/2.8 L USM. I'm especially happy with the on leash pics, the others look better in full size, without Photobucket resizing them I didn't edit the pics and we didn't do too much with the camera settings, so I have high hopes!
Anne, thanks for your nice comment about Tillo We like to keep him lean, with some muscles
