We had a great day - but something really terrified tilly - her tail went down, she was fidgeting about every where, and was still like that until we got back to the hotel at night. But a night spent under the covers(and a wee bit of steak as a treat from her dads dinner) got her out of it. Was really worried about her actually, because she has been - up until now - completely fearless - would face a lion, and ignores gunshot etc (lots of shooting in the woods near our house). still not sure what happened. but lots of dogs were spooked at that show, it was really windy and i think that put some off
-
I hope Tilly has recovered from her fright. Wind does spook many Basenjis and I know ours are never in for a shout on wet, windy days at shows.
It can happen, I know my totally (well almost) fearless Ama got very spooked once by the noise of ice creams going through the whipping process in a van. Also the noise of the heater blowers they used to have at Newent.

It was me but propriety dictates that I keep quite on this one!
