    Anette,
What a darling picture..yes, Kasko, sure looks comfy.
I am glad Tric is setting in well in your home..and that they all seem fine snuggling together.

  • When all three sleeps like that it is all worth it… I will not pretend that it is not a lot of work haveing two puppies and one young Giant. It is almost so that I regret not using locked crates lol. Almost! Three young dogs is one to many for me, but I love Tric and will miss him horrible whenever he leave...

    Just one more:

I use crates as bed so that it is easyer to keep the other dogs away when one wants to sleep and the other one wants to play.

  • @Anette:

I can't keep him, its too much work with two puppies, and since both are intackt males (we do not spay or neuter dogs without a spesific reason in Norway) - it will be too much risk of them not getting along when they hit the "terrible teens".

Hey, they grow up quick…. 😃 but I agree with you... when in tact you never know about same sex .. and how they may or may not get alone. Especially since your giant will come in season.... if you have a house with no bitches that come in season, usually can work... but if they start to "rut".. your in trouble. As they say, three's a crowd... but the... 4 are just two pairs...

We have two males and two females at home, but we have that possibility to keep males and females separately during the season and I'm thanking for it.
I think when you get to number 3, then there is very easy level up to number 4 and then 5,6…....:D
I always said one Basenji is nothing compared with pack of them.
    More is better :D;).

  • You are not making it easier for me. Lol.
No, If the perfect home does not come befor the end of may, he'll stay. So then we have som time. Kahlo is neuterd due to hormon problems, and I guess I can get Tric fixed too, if I have to, to keep the peace between the guys. We'll just see. 🙂

Well that helps, not having a bitch come in season…. due to Tric coming from a rescue situation, does he have papers? Just wondering...

  • I'm always a sucker for happy endings…..good homes are so important!!!
    Great pic!

  • No he dosent have any papers and he is not faconitestet (i'm working on it) the only thing I know about his parents is that his mother is red, from norway and was bred on her first heat. And that his father is a 7 year old tricolor male from sweeden.

  • Lovely pics Anette, and how very kind of you to foster little Tric, he looks very content.

  • Wow Anette,

I just read your stories about Tric (and other dogs) in the rescue section (have not been able to log in for a few days), and I have to say, you are doing awesome job with that little boy… All your pics of him (and Kasko and Kahlo of course) that you posted here and in other threads are awesome! Tric is so lucky that you got him (at least for now)!
