How to Open a Vittles Vault
-
This is what I found Nicky doing while I was playing with L'Ox this morning.

He had managed to get the lid about half way unscrewed when I stopped him.

Naughty Nicky
-
If you need vittles you gotta do what it takes.
-
Too funny. I love him trying to open it with his mouth.
-
And for anyone who believes basenjis become better behaved with age, Nicky is 12 years old.
-
How funny..he is determined..
-
Guess you know your dogs…that is why you have your food in a can like this.
Great video. -

It is this statement that makes me laugh out loud…
-
I tell folks they slow down at about 14, but Topper is 14 and wild as ever. My Nicky is 12 too and will steal and destroy a wallet or shoe before I can blink.
Your Nicky is gifted, thanks for the video, it is funny!

My Mickii could open just about anything that she could wrap her hands (opps paws) around. It took me forever to figure out that I was not the one forgetting to put the lid back on the tread jar… It was in the bedroom up on top of the dresser. Mickii would get on top one of the crates, side the can (it was a square can) over to the edge, wrap her paws around it and use her "fang" to flip the lid off....

The Vittles Vault is the only containers that I have found that the dogs can not get open. But if they are not screwed absolutely tight then Nicky is persistent enough to get it wiggling and loose and then will keep working it just like that video until it opens.
