    We decided to take our vacation over Thanksgiving this year. First we spent 3 days showing our whippet and coursing in Chicasha Oklahoma staying with my husbands family there for a week. Trog earned his Master courser and our whippet picked up another placement towards her LCM. Then we traveled to Decatur tX for the region 4 invitational where Xander earned his LCM. A busy week, but great way to end the coursing season. Our whippet and Xander each earned a couple more BOBs too;)

    This coming weekend there is LGRA and NOTRA in Orange County. My mom has the information. I think there is also some racing in December in Orange County. Don't know what the show schedule looks like or if these conflict with any. I do know this time of year is the racing season in So Cal since the parks are available.

    Not quite, he still needs 5 more points towards his AKC field championship but will have an opportunity at those in March.

    @Sunny: At what age is the best time to start lure coursing ?? And is there a course in oklahoma ?? Ide love to get Sandie into something like that, if she is interested… Sunny, You can start very short practices with puppies but you can't actually enter a trial until a dog is at least a year old. Coursing is available in Oklahoma. Your best bet is to contact Richard Stilwell. Richard and his wife Linda have been involved with lure coursing Basenjis for a long time and they can get you started in your area. Send me a private message for Richard email My best wishes. :)
