Do you ship your Basenjis: To the right home, yes.Maria is a sweet and active yearling that is in need of a forever home. She was kept to be shown and later used for breeding, but family health necessitates her placement. Maria loves to be walked and knows basic house manners and loves to sleep in bed. She would do fine with other basenjis. Raised with a cat, but we can't guarantee she won't really love the new kitty!

she is beautiful! If i was looking for an older dog id totally get her but I have to get an 8 week old puppy if im getting another basenji. I have had 3 bad experiences with older basenjis and i have decided if i get one, its gonna be a puppy so i can raise it how i want her to be! but she is georgous!

Kathy, I certainly agree with you. It takes a lot of work to make a puppymill/BYB adult dog socialable and to become more like a normal dog. Sometimes even the older pups are traumatized. It is sad what some of these breeders/owners have done to their dogs and they do not see anything wrong with it.
