New member in Memphis, TN

Hi everyone!
I wanted to introduce myself as a new member. My husband and I have a 12 year old female red and white Basenji. Her name is Sienna. Her health is excellent, but we wanted some information from other parents of "senior" dogs. I've read that the average life expectancy is 10-12yrs, but Sienna is so vibrant!! With the exception of a little bit of arthritis and a kidney stone removed two years ago, she is just great. If anyone has an older Basenji, Sienna and I would love to hear from you.

Welcome abaker! This is a very good place for all Basenji info. Some here have or know of some B's that have lived 16+ years. I'm a new BASENJI-mix owner - emphasis on the B part of him, now 1 yr old. Please post some pictures. Have fun. :)
