I'll take this as a sign…

Show Off Your Dog
  • I swear, I only left the room for a minute! I just happened to hear him drag something out of his crate and across the kitchen floor. It's been so warm today that I left the back door open so they can come in and out as they please, so I followed the trail to see his latest handiwork.

I'll take this as a sign that he wants a new bed… or maybe he just thought it would make a really good toy at that moment. Ah well, it's about time for a new bed anyway, I suppose.

  • He's well and truly killed it :D

  • I just got Buddy a new pad for his dog house and presto I got to see what was inside. At least he took it outside.

  • What a stinker! Let me guess: when you found him with the carcass of the bed, he looked at you proudly as if to say, "Look, Mom! Aren't you happy I killed the nasty bed-monster for you? You know, you have me to thank for making the house safer." :D

  • It looks like a CSI crime scene. Better get that green stuffing down to the lab. I wonder if the bed was still alive when he dragged it outside for the final destuffing??

  • @AJs:

What a stinker! Let me guess: when you found him with the carcass of the bed, he looked at you proudly as if to say, "Look, Mom! Aren't you happy I killed the nasty bed-monster for you? You know, you have me to thank for making the house safer." :D

Or he made this cute innocent basenji face: "Who, me? Mom, I would never do such a thing… It was like that when I found it." That's what my boxer does.

  • Oh yes, he was very proud, especially after he figured out I wasn't mad.

  • That looks just like the green couch stuffing that i come home to most days (I stopped getting the small tear in the couch sealed after he kept opening the same spot). It's not in a visible location anyways… silly dogs they are :D

@iris-shuman said in I would like you to meet "The 'Marvel'-ous Prince T'Challah" a/k/a Prince: Iris was born in December too Not much of a surprise when you think about it ! Basenjis in the Northern Hemisphere come in to season through September/October/November and whelp their litters November/December/January. A great many litters' arrivals cause the turkey to be put back in the oven on Christmas Day while the puppies are delivered ! Decrease the size of the photo and you will be able to show Iris to all of us. And do as Tanza suggests to Daureen - get her Fanconi tested.

Yes, Bungwa will toss any of his toys into the air and catch them but definitely will not catch anything I throw. He has no competition because the others just look and say 'Boooring'!!! Interesting about your best hunters being fetchers, Quercus. I wonder if there's a reason in it or whether it's a coincidence!?
