PetFinder is having a new Vote For A Shelter. You can go to this website everyday and vote, http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/shelterchallenge.faces?siteId=3

To vote for say Medfly Brigade Basenji Rescue just type Medfly in for the name and California for the state and it should pop up for you to vote for.

Our local Humane Society collects dog food donations (even opened bags) for distribution to those who can't afford to feed their pets. I try and drop off a bag once in a while, but I forget. Thanks for the reminder!

I'm going to put myself out there and say the white tiger to validate the vote really threw me for a loop!! I need to brush up on my wildlife, clearly! I'm going to go with my waaay overused excuse: they don't exist in hawaii :)

Imo, the difference between a nip and a bite is if the skin is broken and they draw blood. Puppies and some uneducated adult dogs nip…its not something anyone wants, but imo it can be corrected. A bite, a totally diffent issue and something that should be eval. on a case by case event.
