@tanza things have changed here, and not for the better. When I was first passed (by the Kennel Club) to give CCs the criteria was you must have had 100 dogs under you at open show level and have judged a club Open Show. Within a few years judges who had had less than 30 dogs under them in Opens were awarding CCs. Heaven alone knows what the criteria is now.

I hope it fits, I ordered it and he needs to have it in order to attend a doctors appointment on the 30th…if it doesn't fit I will ask the vet to borrow one... I don't dislike the mesh, but I feel like the basket muzzle gives a better opportunity to pant, of which he will. He has only ever worn a muzzle once and so I am nervous he will fight it so I'm hoping to introduce it as soon as it comes. I'm not necessarily comfortable with using a muzzle but at the very least its good he get accustomed to one, especially if he will be lure coursing with others

I wasn't happy with my Ind result from two clear parents because I told them before I sent the swab back that I wasn't happy with it and would have liked another swab. It was tested anyway and I almost expected a wrong result. It wasn't necessarily an error at the lab but human error before they ever received it (on my part) I think they should have sent another swab, I would have been happy to pay for it. I was told if I wanted a repeat test I would have to start from scratch and pay all over again.

Dogs often will vomit yellow bile otherwise known as "empty tummy"…. so spacing out the food or giving a light snack before bed is usually the cure

I've only just read this post as I was away for a few days. I couldn't agree more with Tanza about substantial and bladed bone. The UK standard calls for fine bone which is interpreted by some to mean 'weedy'. As Tanza says it is not all black and white. After all the term 'fine' is open to individual interpretation. I had a look on your website Tanza and agree that Maggii is very feminine and has good bone.

The dogs in the picture look so much wilder to me. I liked the smaller ears. also they talk about the dogs had short muzzles. Very cool pictures, thanks for posting the link.
