It was really great to see so much interest, and so much success in showing, coursing and all things Basenji from the new and/or young people this year at the National

It really hit me this year, that the people who were older when we started in Basenjis are starting to pass on…and we, the once youngsters, are now the middle aged .... time for a new crop of youngsters, and I couldn't be more proud of how you all are investing your time and your heart in our breed...sniff....

Thanks, Andrea. :o Strangely enough, I was also thinking along the same lines. It was nice to a wide range of ages of people at National, which I hope means that all of the valuable knowledge about the breed will be passed along through the generations.
