Seren Jane doesn't make too many sounds, only occassionaly when we've picked her up from the groomer does she sound a bit like a baby. Not her favorite thing. Now she does make a low growling sound if you acciently roll on her at night or try to move her over in the bed, real grumpy then.
She does seem to enjoy listening to the sounds of other basenji's that I've found on the Internet.
