oohhh I am looking so much forward to those coursing pictures!!!!
I like all the pictures of the walk, I can see Sorbonne doing his favourite thing in the mudd  you can see what a small world it is πŸ˜ƒ or does it come because t Leesten is the only park that has fencing ? πŸ˜ƒ

Yeah, Sorbonne was in the mud for about 2 hours or so πŸ˜ƒ Your friend (don't know her name ) did tell me she visited het Leesten a lot. Probably because it is one of the few parks that has fencing.. sigh.. 😞 That's also why we spend our Saturdays there.. πŸ˜‰

  • her name is Susanne πŸ˜‰ and yes she goes there a lot because of the fencing and the GBGV are hunters also so in the woods near us they dissapear for severall hours…...
I am so happy I can let Jenson, Kalusha ( and Lio, Thirza not she is a real huntress ) off leash as well as my podenco SMitthy and our galgo Barry, ofcourse not in places where the deers and rabbits run before your eyes, but I can have them off leash in a lot of places, also near us, so I am happy with that. Cy can also walk off leash but he goes after nice smelling bitches and has carrots in his ears then , so I have to watch him very closely, Solar really searches for things to hunt and drags all the dogs with her ( maybe because she is the leader of the pack ) so she is on the 8m flex all the time , she also goes into the water to hunt gooses and coots.....she can do that for hours....My basenjis do that as well yes they like to swim when there are waterbirds, but when I continue my walk they come after me anyway, and Solar doesnt...well she does evantually....>sigh< the others dont go into the water, so that makes it also much more easy to have them off leash, the park near our house is a part forest and lots of water and not very much rabbits etc ( they are there but can escape very easily because of the tight bushes ) so a perfect place to let most of my dogs off leash, also because hardly anybody walks there, some fisherman are there but not many dogs!! I dont understand why not but I would like to keep it that way πŸ˜ƒ I can have Thirza of fleash as well there, as there are no main roads near.

  • We also have a forrest behind our house, where Tillo can walk 'off leash'. There are a lot of foxes etc, so I do use a 15 meter leash.. When there is some wildlife around I can see Tillo's ridge going up, haha, so time enough to call him and/or grab the leash πŸ˜ƒ Only problem is that Tillo likes to walk at least 100 m in front of me..

Luckely cycling also helps to get him tired πŸ˜ƒ πŸ˜ƒ
