Zoni's First Point!

Wahoo! Zoni got her first point this morning at the Coulee Kennel Club show in La Crosse, WI today. :D:D I was actually a little suprised as I still feel so slow and sloppy in the ring…but I'll take the point anyway! I guess I should have gotten a picture for her first point but I completely forgot about it until I was almost halfway into the 3.5 h drive home. :rolleyes: Oops, next time!

Thanks everyone! I'm glad it was a really small entry because that was my first time in the winners and breed rings. I didn't realize at the time that we were supposed to line up in the ring in a particular order. But the judge corrected me. :rolleyes: At least for a faux pas, that's a small one.

Oh shoot, now I really wish I had gotten a picture. Who knows when the next point or two will be…. I guess we'll have to stand in the backyard with her ribbon and re-capture the moment. :rolleyes:

In the US, for AKC Championship your dog needs a total of 15 points with 2 major wins. Points go from 1 to 5pts, with 3,4 and 5 being considered major point wins. Points are assigned by groups of areas or large states, such as California is one area.
