Potential injury from glass
-
In the neighborhood where I walk my Bs, I sometimes see shards of broken glass on the concrete and lead them away from the glass. I'm wondering what to do if one of them accidentally steps on a piece of glass … ?? What's the first thing that you should do? Any advice?
It hasn't happened, but I want to be prepared in case it does.

Very good question, I would like to know as well. In a dogs lifetime, you know they will get close to broken glass on the streets and what not.

I have run into that myself and walked way around. I would just check the Bs foot and if it's cut I would carry it home and treat accordingly. See if there's a piece of glass in there and if I can get it out. If it's a real bad cut it may be off to the emergency clinic.
