Milk Thistle

I have searched and read previous posts on milk thistle. To those that have used milk thistle, what dosage do you give daily? I have seen on-line that dogs should get a certain percentage of the human dosage based on weight. I also saw some on-line specifically for dogs at 175 mg (which is that same dosage as I bought yesterday at the grocery store) and I also saw some in liquid form.

I tried the liquid form…. horrible taste and made my dogs gag.... I give 250mg pills

Wow! I guess I'm okay with the 175 mg that I bought. Do you give once a day or with each meal?
