Still trying to get my head around all this Fanconi buisiness. -
The sire's not tested and not likely to get tested. But he could either be clear or a carrier. I've just arranged to get Trouper (Chance's brother) tested too so that would give a better indication of what the sire is.
Now I've just got to find a good Clear dog to use at stud on Nakura. -

clear x clear = 100% clear
affected x affected = 100% affected
affected x clear = 100% carrier
affected x carrier = 50 % affected 50 % carrier
carrier x carrier = 50% carrier 25 % affected 25 % cleartheoritically ofcourse in a clear x carrier mating in practice can give you all carriers or all clears, but with these % you know your chances ;)

That's good news about Chance Vicky. At least you know you have to find a nice clear boy for Nakura now. You must be relieved.
Chance is Nakura's son so can't use him! The search continues. We need to encourage more people to test are there are only about 6 clear stud dogs in UK at moment. So not much too choose from there!!
