Well they certainly didn't miss the tattoo, it says right on the BRAT page that she has one. And I thought Tad used the AKC # so it should have easily led them back to him as the breeder. I don't know who did Tayda, but probably the same. Denise Vertrees did Gwen, she is a big volunteer for BRAT too. She moved recently, but that was after Tayda was done.

Tad must have placed her in a pet home later. Apparently they weren't willing to pay for the shipping to return her. (which I know is in his contracts) So they must have dumped her in rescue? Anyways he has contacted BRAT and hopefully will be bringing her home soon!

Andrew, if that's the case, then she will only be a couple hours from you. :)

Andrew, could this be the brindle girl you are looking for as a friend to Shango. I checked the ofa website and she has been fully health tested.

I have Basenji owners who live on the East side of Indianapolis. Just off RT 40 near 465.They are very nice people & have 2 females who are a year old. Very friendly & playful.

Sounds great! We're on the North Side near Fishers so it's quite a bit away but maybe we can meet up!
