WELCOME! Is your pup from a breeder or rescue? If a breeder, many here have related dogs so it's fun to see the connections. My girl is a rescue, so only the people from the same hoarder they were taken from are related. Like Alex said, PLEASE post pics when you can.

@renaultf1: In my case 3-4 hours would be nice. Here where I live it is 2.5 hrs to Liyah's breeders and then another 6-9 hours to anywhere there was a major (NY - PA) last year. I'd LOVE 3-4 hrs. :D:D:D Yeah, I hear you. For majors it's a different story. Unless I'm really lucky at the two regional specialities (which I'm pretty fortunate to have easy access to) every other major will be a 6+ drive. Lure coursing will probably be worse!

First off, Welcome to our site of valueable Basenji information. I have learned so much linking into this site, we have lots of laughs as well. My B, Sahara, crosses her legs all the time, she is such a showoff and often has the regal queen look. I love the look myself, they are such beautiful dogs I must say, not that I am partial or anything. Your Piper is so cute, welcome again.
