Basenji Playdates East TN ???

    I haven't posted much here for a while, but I am still looking for Basenji/Basenji mixes for playdates. I know there are some in Knoxville, where we are, but so far, no playdates have been arranged.

    My Basenji is mixed with Whippet, so she's fast and an avid HUNTER!!!

    Is there anyone in East TN with a Basenji/Basenji mix that would like to meet for playdates??

    Liz's aunt lives in Knoxville so we may be up there sometimes….I'll have to beg and promise a variety of valuable services like dinner or laundry to convince Liz to bring the dogs, haha...and her aunt has cats, so could be interesting b/c in Zip's mind cat = bunny. But I would love to take them up to the Smokies sometime.

    I will check out the Facebook page. There is a nice dog park in Encinitas, but I'm not sure how far you are from the area.

    Found this thread and figured I would respond. I have an almost 1yr old Male (27 November) and would be interested in meeting up with other Basenji owners and their dogs. I live near Quantico and quite honestly don't see any other Basenjis ever. Will drive to most parks in the NOVA area.

    Wife and I are empty nesters serious considering a Basenji as a companion pet. I've been searching for someone in Nashville area that might have one that we can observe.     We're here in NJ! 3 y/o male brindle. Hoping for a second soon! We were on LBI back in August and went to the dog park!! We live up north though.
