Hi John! My Binti will only consent to have her nails ground and only with treats (she gets one per paw.) She hated it at first but once we had the routine established, she settles right into it. The only thing I would say about using the grinder is keep pausing to feel the claw. I once had a "groomer" who was in a hurry hold the grinder to Binti's claw too long and the friction built up heat which burned her enough to make her yip. We started doing it at home after that.0_1609705288646_1Binti orchids1.jpg
Hi from Montreal

Sorry, I meant the DOB for your dog. Sally has the info on the parents. That is how Pat found that your pup is a double Victor great granddaughter.
Oh! I was wondering about that, heh. Zenu was born on Sept 11th 2007.

Hi, I'm also from Montreal.
I want to know if you know the price range of Nancy Kneen's basenjis. I bought my first one off kijiji, but I want to get one more. So far it seems that Tagati's place is the only option. I tried calling and e-mailing but no reply…
thanks for your help!

Welcome you and your beautiful girl. It sounds like you are doing a good thing and raising a very well trained dog. We are still working on maners and such at our house, next week we head off to Obecience Classes as well..
Again, a warm welcome.Basenjimamma
