Its not too early to mark you calendars to reserve the first weekend in Aug.
Evergreen Basenji club is have the 40 Annual Speciality Show and the 32 Annerul Futurity-24 Annual Maturity-6th obedience trial-4th Rally trial.

Its in Auburn Wa. and its great fun.
I take off work and go to watch the b's visit with friends, and enjoy the dogs.

Dates are Fri Aug 1-2 with a hound show on sun.

If your planning on attending, do sign up for the EBC banquet.
Lots of good food, right on the show grounds, followed by a fun auction of basenji items.
That is on sat evening.

A dremel is a one-off expenditure ! And you can do his nails weekly instead of making costly appointments !

Some Basenjis are definitely cuddle-boys or girls. Some more aloof. My Keeper is very much in the former category, Hoover is very much more aloof. The Cat That Walks By Itself. In the house Loki is probably trying to be a lap dog because if he is - well, he is getting more attention than the Yorkie, isn't he ! Basenjis are great strategists.

You'll have great fun with the pair of them !

oh that was just painful to watch (at least my runs!). it's a shame the camera person focused on me instead of getting Zest running into the fence. On the upside, gosh the equipment looks nice!

Tillo hasn't been shown lately, he just turned 27 months so he can now win his last CAC for his Dutch Championship.. His first big show is at the end of June 🙂

Lycia will leave the second or third week of April. Tillo will probably miss her very much and hate me for it 😞

Thanks Pat. I don't being my dogs to the EBC specality, because its too hot and I am not set up for dogs ring side. I go every year to support the club and talk to folks about b rescue.
So, I am not up on what is ok and what isn't re taking dogs on the grounds.
