Here is a link to Life's Abundance dog food. It is chicken based…. the only ingredient that I don't care for that they use is the beet pulp...

Still another choice for people look for high quality food...

I use the Life Abudance and alternate between Paula Newmans.
My dogs love it.
Their coats look great.
I totally support both of those dog foods.

@prasadvaze There are wipes which you can use instead of baths, I imagine most of them neutralize odors and have a fresh scent. Perhaps try those? Mine have always had no detectable smell except after I bath them, then they smell “doggy” for a day or so. As we all know here, feeding becomes very personal… but these foods with corn and other "fillers" are like feeding your children a complete diet of junk food.... Hopefully people will come to understand the value of a good quality food for their pets.

It is scary that they have to do this for the safety of peoples pets…BUT on the flipside we can't even be sure the human foods we buy at the store is safe for us...after all those recalls and such last year and years before that. We are the greatest country on this planet, yet we lack in so many areas...even though I am not american (still swedish, my mother would die if I changed my nationality, that is all she has left...lol), I still see myself as an american, and United Staes of America is my home.. Thanks for posting this, Pat, I don't use it myself, but will ask around among my friends and relatives to make sure pets stay safe..

Thanks everyone! Now I'm wracking my brain trying to remember where exactly her vaccines were. She got two in one day, and I preoccupied with holding her and giving her cookies! I keep rubbing it, and if anything, it seems a bit smaller, but I will absolutely let everyone know what happens next. Cheers

@FortheLoveofStella: Stella has very short hair, and she is flaky a lot (in more ways than one!!) Do you need a prescription for the omega3 or fish oil? Or can you just the human equivalent at cvs? Human equivalent is fine to use

you could use olive oil, also fish oil works very well, and flaxseed oil is yet another. there are other supplements you could add for a better coat too, minerals and vitamins. I'm fond of sea meal - contains minerals, vitamins, amino acids, and flaxseed meal. you should find out if it's truly just dry skin though. sometimes it can be cleared up w/ just a change in food.
