Here is a link to Life's Abundance dog food. It is chicken based…. the only ingredient that I don't care for that they use is the beet pulp...

Still another choice for people look for high quality food...

I use the Life Abudance and alternate between Paula Newmans.
My dogs love it.
Their coats look great.
I totally support both of those dog foods.

Recently there was a recall of Innova Dry Dog Foods which produces a Grain-Free food that I was using at the time called EVO. Recall was for Salmonella found in numerous batches of their product line. Innova also makes numerous other dog foods (EVO, Innova, California Natural and Healthwise), worth checking into! I am new to this website and posting altogether and apologize if this was out of context.

One thing that came to my mind: At our vet clinic we sell Science Diet. They have a sensitive skin formula. I find all of their foods to be made in mind of the animals needs and it is highly recommended by our veterinarians. Although it might be more costly.. @Schouiffy: Hey Tanza, No she hasn't had much of anything done as of recent. My parents have had a really wild last 2 years so I think thats contributed to the lack of vet work. Happily, and thanks to Dan, we have an appointment set up for tomorrow morning with the vet. yay. And I'll restrain on the food front. I mean its not awful food, but there are a lot of grains… hmm. It's really kinda difficult to see them at this age, I think this last year as been a hard one for her too... Again.. at her age.. I go back to "if it ain't broke" don't try to fix it… I can tell you that is exactly what I would do... period.... and yes, there might be better.. but at her age... it is not going to make a difference.. again IMO

@FortheLoveofStella: Stella has very short hair, and she is flaky a lot (in more ways than one!!) Do you need a prescription for the omega3 or fish oil? Or can you just the human equivalent at cvs? Human equivalent is fine to use
