    @prasadvaze There are wipes which you can use instead of baths, I imagine most of them neutralize odors and have a fresh scent. Perhaps try those? Mine have always had no detectable smell except after I bath them, then they smell “doggy” for a day or so.     Recently there was a recall of Innova Dry Dog Foods which produces a Grain-Free food that I was using at the time called EVO. Recall was for Salmonella found in numerous batches of their product line. Innova also makes numerous other dog foods (EVO, Innova, California Natural and Healthwise), worth checking into! I am new to this website and posting altogether and apologize if this was out of context.

    It is scary that they have to do this for the safety of peoples pets…BUT on the flipside we can't even be sure the human foods we buy at the store is safe for us...after all those recalls and such last year and years before that. We are the greatest country on this planet, yet we lack in so many areas...even though I am not american (still swedish, my mother would die if I changed my nationality, that is all she has left...lol), I still see myself as an american, and United Staes of America is my home.. Thanks for posting this, Pat, I don't use it myself, but will ask around among my friends and relatives to make sure pets stay safe..

    My wife's hand is worse where she can't bend her finger or lift objects. I finally got her to go to the doctor, they X rayed her hand and asked her how long she has had arthritis! So this is how she found out she has arthritis at age 48. It seems that her knuckle where she was bit has an inner infection, no broken bones, they put her hand & finger in a splint. The dog bite did not break the skin, but as any body who has been "really" bitten by a basenji knows they have bone crushing jaws. They leave horrible bruises even if they don't draw blood. The dog seems all better still, no more pain attacks. While petting him we noticed a scab on his ear after the fight. It goes all the way through his ear. The other dog bit a hole in his ear, when she tried to finish him!
