We are looking for a trainer for our Basenji. She is 8 months old and has been training since we first got her at 3 month old. We really need a hound or a trainer experienced in training our lil girl.

If you go with only positive training groups, they really can handle your basenji.

And while you find a trainer, start going through Mary's lessons on your own and let us know what particular rough patches you are hitting?
If you can master the lessons on the left and mostly the "trouble shooting" ones on the right, a trainer will simply help you polish up spots.

What type of training are you interested in? Is this a housebreaking issue, obedience problem, or some behaviour you want to discourage? Since you have posted in behavioural problems, I assume you are having some difficulties with something. If you are more specific it might be easier to point you in the right direction, i.e. to an obedience trainer or an animal behaviourist.
