Thanks! I just joined had no idea about it. I drove for 5 hours to go meet with some basenjis to see if i would have an allergic reaction. Wish i knew about this place before haha. Unfortunately i missed todays meetup, count on me to be there next month!. Do i have to sign up anywhere? Do you email me where to go or will it be on that website?

Hi, I have two Basenjis and would like to know if any of the Basenjis owner in San Diego area (PB area) would like to meet up at the dog park. I live in Pacific Beach. I normally take them to Capehart Dog Park or Mission Trails.

We just got home from a great little meet-up with Kaiah and her humans! Kaiah is a little tri and had not played with basenjis before, so when she met our two tris and new black boy, she was smitten! It was all mutual, lots of sniff and wiggle, then she and Chip ran and chased for awhile, even Eddie got into the act. Kaiah's humans are delightful too, and it was a lovely dog park visit. Hopefully we can repeat it soon. Love the Forum and it's connections.

This is the lovely picture of basenji silence after a day at the dog park. [image: atthepark.jpg] We had a great meet! Anne and Don brought their 3 ( Nikki- tri fem, Topper- black male, and Eddie- tri male). Beth brought her 2 (Bella-tri fem and Frank- red male), a new couple brought their 3 (newborn baby, Eshi - red fem, and a 5yr old german shepard named Molly just introduced to the family,) and I had my two (Caesar- red male, and Cairo - brindle male). We also met out of the blue, a couple who had adopted a brindle female that was named Dreammaker. She was very timid, but had fun meeting the pack. There were crazy basenji runs, squirell chases and the normal chaos and fun that comes with a pack! We had a great time. Hopefully pictures will follow.
