It Took Me 1.5 years of looking and talking to breeders before I was able to get on the waiting list in time to get a pup. You have to start preparing and talking to breeders in the early fall in order to get on the reservation list for a puppy by next spring
Basenji pup wanted near the Toronto area (Ontario)
-
Hello everyone (first post actually). So after months of doing research on the breed and considering it and talking to owners online I have finally decided that I am going to get a Basenji. Unfortunately I can't find any breeders in my area that are planning or have a litter of puppies on the way. If anyone on here has a pup or knows a breeder and is looking for a loving home to send your puppy to than let me know!

Hi there, you are a little late. All of us have had our B puppies already. You can try two people, but please make sure you research the health testin background of each breeder. You can try Jennifer Hamaba, of Mandalay Basenjis. She is in Oshawa. Her info can be found here: http://mandalaybasenjis.webs.com/apps/blog/. Also, you can try Sanda Allan of Africanadian Basenji's. If you google her, it will show up. Also, you can give Chris Frost of Bushwacker basenji's a try. I don't know if she has anything or not. Unfortunately, mine are already spoken for.
