    It's funny how they get that basenji "sardonic grin" right before they puke!

    I love it; not only is it amusing to look at, but it gives me time to get the bucket ready! LOL

    LuzMery, maybe you're not using the correct size harness? Or not tightening it properly.

    could be. it also took me a long time to figure out the harness. I'll try again, this time with my hubbies assistance. We want him safe.

    This weekend my B was doing that sound right before they puke (gave him some rawhide bones) and I carried him to the bathroom and put his head in the toilet thanks to someone else's experience on this forum-sorry forgot who)and my daughter was laughing at me, but hey he threw up in the toilet and hopefully will in the future. I love how human they can be at times….really just like children!

    The only thing I have found that will hold Corin is a Kennel-Aire Commander crate, because it has 1 inch squares on all 6 sides. The new Kennel-Aires have larger sqaures on the bottom, and he has figured out how to slide the tray out and get out the bottom of the crate.

    The article I read on ginger said they started taking the ginger capsules 2 days before chemo and of course used regular meds during the chemo, but their ginger group had less nausea/vomiting than the placebos. Maybe the trick is to start early!

    @TuckerVA: There is a Mexican Hairless in my neighborhood and he's got a -40F coat. It also has a knitted neck that comes up to the ears almost. Not sure what brand/type it is, but I can check if anyone is interested… It just doesn't get that cold here in Va, at least not in the 10 years I've been here. I think it rarely gets below the high teens here. I would be interested in that

    I use a car harness with My isZi because if I don't she wants to sit on my shoulders and it makes it very hard to drive. I have no idea why she wants on my shoulders even if I'm sitting at the desk on the computer she thinks she has to be on my shoulders. I guess because her ancestor's were carried that way?

    Yeah and it's not like my B is helpful. He's looking at me like what now mommy first the coat and booties and now this…how are the boys at the park gonna take me seriously..lol
