So we adopted Tess, a Basenji pup who was rejected by her mom at two hours old. She was hand fed by some wonderful people in Kentucky and ended up as the sole survivor from a liter of 5 pups. The family who saved her started a facebook page for Tess and we are continuing to keep it up. the link is below.

What happened to the other pups? Do you know why they didn't make it? She is adorable!
What a tough begining for a little puppy. of course she's on easy street now!
I do not know why the others did noot make it. Tess came to us from Camp Jean via a foster that was wonderful for her.
She is a rascal. She has no problem getting Benny into trouble, he really loves her. Willow acts as if she is Tess's mother and Bear grumbles at her, but he enjoys the attention she gives him.
Sorry to hear about her tragic beginnings. Looks like she has a really wonderful home now!
