I'm new to the forum. I've got 2 "b's" a male and female. 5 years old…..

Welcome. Do you hunt with your b's? If you do, I can recommend another good group for you.

Yes, I use them to flush game for my hunting Hawk. They love it. I actually break alot of "rules" to indulge my "B's" . I run them off leash.(on rural trails) I encourage them to chase squirrels and rabbits, They love to do what they do best….HUNT!!

Hello and welcome! I also have a b (mix) that is obsessed with hunting!! Squirrels are her most hated prey. Stalks them like a cat hunting in the bush.

I live near the mountains in Colorado. There are some great trails with open space all around to let thme run around. As far as the hunting goes. I have a Falconry license to hunt with a raptor(Red Tailed Hawk), and I use the dogs to flush game for the hawk…...

falconry is very cool. I've wanted to try it, but it's more of a commitment than a basenji. Cool choice on the Red Tail.

Gosh I'm so jealous!! We don't have any plasce we could let our pooches loose. I would love a big open space sans any basenji prey :) that way they'll come back
