    Hi,

    I jsut found this forum and it is great. I have looked in the past for something in this format as mail lists and yahoo groups just do not do it for me, plus they seem to all get filled with spam.

    My wife and I have 2 basenjis, Lion and Tigger a female and male from the same litter. We are soon to be getting a new puppy, in about 9 weeks.

    I will post some pics in the show off forum.

    Thanks to all of you for your kind worlds and welcomes,as soon as my friend translate for me my questions,so they don't get lost in miss spelling and miss understanding i will post them,and of course the pictures of my beautiful little angels :)

    Thank you one and all for the warm welcome, it is nice to be among friends who share the same affections with the B's. I posted a photo it is next to my profile, I'm so new at this thread thing I still can't figure a lot of it out . . . Also welcome to the newbees also . . .     @WriggleysMom: We've always had rescues and I feel like I've missed out on puppy antics, so I'm debating. Toby doesn't baroo or wag his tail and I really miss being met at the door with a welcome baroo and a tail trying to wag itself off!! I had a puppy and was getting the urge for another but now we have a 7-mo old foster and I can't take my eyes off her. I remembered I really did not miss that!

    @Rafismom: Thanks to the amazing Cheryl-Hanks mom and Kevin and Dr. Gonto we are on our way to trying everything known on Fanconi. All your posts meant the world to me! Rafi is not going to have an easy road-we caught it very late. Gabrielle That is great, hopefully you have also advised his breeder… good luck and well wishes for a good treatment and good results.

    Norm, My b will chew almost anything allowed he has gotten better i've had him for 2 yrs he's 3 yrs the shoes are no longer allowed in the house they go in the hallway otherwise they are his lol any remotes, phones, and anything else that has any value that i need i always put up high so he can't reach it Mine is addicted to bottles if he see's a empty bottle anywhere he doesnt stop till he gets it and can put his little love bite in it lol If he see's a full bottle he leaves it but not a empty one anyways all i would say is just put things where he can't touch them that pretty much the only thing i have figured out that will work with his little addutude and the bolting i got phoenix to wait for a treat before he thinks hes going out so he doesnt bolt unless he sees a animal or something outside other then that he just sits and waits for his yummy lol the only bad thing about it is that i always have treats in my pocket lol :D Good luck
