For those who have followed Tess on FB since she was born - she will be 6 months old on Thursday. She is growing into quite the princess (she can't be queen since Willow has already laid claim to that.) Here they are waiting for mommy to come into the house
I have always used a dremmel, then a finishing file to smooth. But on dogs with really dark nail, it is nearly impossible to see so I do a very small amount and check, drill, check .
Fleece also makes great dog blankets. Again, for the non-sewers, just cut and don't worry about the edges. There are lots of patterns on line where the edges are tied in knots or just fringed. One or two layer fleece blankets. Cheap, machine washable, and lots of colors to choose from. (Just don't iron it!!!)
